Music by Alan Menken | Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Book by Mike Ockrent & Lynn Ahrens | Based on the story by Charles Dickens

Recommended for ages 8 and up

From Broadway legends Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens — the celebrated creative minds behind Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, and Ragtime — comes a spectacular new musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' most beloved tale.

Ebenezer Scrooge has spent a lifetime accumulating wealth and dismissing the happiness of those around him. But on one fateful Christmas Eve, three ghostly visitors take the old miser on an unforgettable journey through his Past, Present, and Future — forcing him to confront the consequences of a life lived without compassion or generosity. What begins as a night of reckoning becomes a profound transformation, as Scrooge discovers that it is never too late to open one's heart and embrace the true spirit of Christmas.

Warm, witty, and bursting with holiday magic, A Christmas Carol is a timeless story of redemption, generosity, and the joy of second chances.

"After the spectacle, the score by Mr. Menken (with lyrics by Ms. Ahrens) is the production's major drawing card." — David Richards, The New York Times

"Music, dance, colorful costumes and atmospheric scenery — all intended to make holiday theatergoing a pleasant family experience — are marshaled here to satisfying effect." — Lawrence Van Gelder, The New York Times
